Small Kids Classes 0-6yrs
Beginner 1 Class (0-3yrs) - 30mins (¥5,000/month)
In this class, we focus on songs and chants incorporating body movements and TPR (total physical response) to learn new language points. Also, we try to use realia and toys to fit the theme of the songs we are targeting.
At this stage, it is most important that kids input as much English as possible and we are less focused on output. We always have the guardian not only join the class, but participate. It is very important for the guardian to sing, repeat, and interact with the teacher and also with their child. This models for the child what we expect from them and seeing mommy or daddy repeat with the teacher makes them more willing to do so as well. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity for child and guardian to practice using the language together.
We repeat main themes and vocabulary throughout the year and focus on new language points and vocabulary every 3-4 weeks.
-It is important that students get as much exposure to English outside of class so there are videos assigned as homework which can be viewed over youtube.
